We undertake commission for lighting restoration projects ranging from a single light to a complete historic restoration. We can also make lights to match existing lights which may need to be replaced or a requirement of listed building legislation. We can also advise on bespoke lighting for any restoration project whether it be a church, stately home or a period property. We have our own colouring studio and can match almost any finish or create a new finish.
One good source of inspiration when considering the lighting of an historic building is to study old photographs of the building, if they exist. These will often show early light fittings in use. These can nearly always be reproduced in a way that satisfies the heritage considerations and complies with modern standards.
