RESIDENTIAL LIGHTING CONSULTANCY SERVICE

The style of your home reflects your character and could be period, classic, contemporary, minimal, sophisticated, colourful or monochrome.  Whatever our taste the right lighting can enhance your home and create many different effects and moods from functional to dramatic or romantic.  With all sorts of lighting solutions to choose from, traditional chandeliers, crystal chandeliers, modern pendants, wall lights, up-lighters, spot lights and LED lighting.

HALF DAY RESIDENTIAL CONSULTANCY SERVICE

1. Half a day consultancy service for clients who would like some guidance.

2. We will take photographs of the various rooms under consideration.

3. We gain an understanding of how the client wants to use each area and then discuss lighting controls, providing guidance on what we consider to be the most suitable for the areas under consideration.

4. At the end of the review the client will have a general idea of how to approach the lighting for each room under consideration.

5. Cost of services - We aim to keep our costs to a minimum and will provide a quotation based on the client's requirements.

FULL RESIDENTIAL DESIGN SERVICE

Stage One - Initial Consultation

(a) Visit your property and obtain a full brief from the client.

(b) Following meeting consider lighting design and draw up an initial lighting plan for each room.

(c) Prepare first draft of lighting layouts for all areas with scope of work.

(d) Look at lighting control systems for each area.

(e) Carry out design review and discuss with client.

(f) Prepare images for each room with scope of work if required.

(g) Prepare lighting and lamp schedule with costs.

(h) Present first draft of lighting proposal to client.

Stage 2 - Detailed Design

(a) Obtain feedback from Initial Consultation - alter as appropriate.

(b) Prepare final lighting layout for all areas.

(c) Prepare switches drawings.

(d) Prepare detailed light and lamp schedule.

(e) Quote best price for project.

(f) Coordinate meeting with client as appropriate.

(g) Present the detailed design package.

Stage 3 - Site Supervision.

(a) Site visits as required to adjust and check lighting angles etc.

(b) Liaise with contractor/client and answer any queries.

Stage 4 - Final Installation

(a) Attend site and supervise installation of lights and control system.

(b) Carry out final inspection.
